Check and fill from the degassing tank when cool, only. The Nissan Xterra cooling system degassing tank is under pressure when hot and can cause injures if opened when hot. If your Nissan or Infiniti with the RE5R05R transmission and you get a P1757 code there are 2 ways to fix this problem.
